The Mountain Springs Ranch road is privately owned by the MSR homeowners association starting at the point that the road leaves the pavement. Mountain Springs ranch is responsible for the maintenance and plowing of the road, and the maintenance of the gate.
The road committee oversees the maintenance of the main Mountain Springs road and all of the secondary roads. The road committee arranges and coordinates the summer maintenance which usually includes gravel where needed, grading, ditch pulling and mag chloride application. In the winter the road committee coordinates the plowing of the main Mountain Springs road.
